Parish & Congregation
Arbroath West Kirk Arbroath has a population of approximately 25,000 people.  The Parish of Arbroath West Kirk, to the west side of the town, is mainly residential with about 7-8 thousand people. We have a mixture of owner-occupier and rented accommodation from local Council and some Housing Associations, with both modern and traditional homes. There are three primary schools, one secondary school and Angus College, along with six residential homes within the Parish.  Additionally there are three sheltered housing complexes plus Arbroath Infirmary.

With a membership of over 950 we have a large number of volunteers organising various aspects of the life of the congregation.  We are fortunate to have an impressive traditional sanctuary and a suite of halls complete with modern facilities.  We produce a monthly magazine, with news of organisations and events, and distribute it to all of our members.
We have an ongoing link with the work of Christian Aid, with money raised from Soup Lunches, Harvest collections and Parish collections for Christian Aid Week.

The flowers for our Sunday services, donated by members throughout the year, are distributed later in the day.  They are a source of strength to those who are uplifted by the knowledge that they are being thought of by their Church family.
